I am replacing the current BLOG with a new one that is easier to use. One of the problems has been formatting text and graphics (which is incredibly tedious). Hopefully I will have it up and running in about a week. In the meantime I will be using this text editor to discuss the overall market.

The markets reversed off of their lows and closed higher for the day. REITS, were particularly strong and I also noticed that a number of potential leading stocks moved higher which is encouraging.

The 50-day moving average is an area of resistance for the markets right now and once they can break above them, have a good shot at moving higher. What is also a positive is that this was a bullish reversal day (markets opened lower and closed higher).

Next week should be interesting.
