Wells Fargo (WFC), US Bancorp (USB), Northern Trust (NTRS), East West Bancorp (EWBC) and other financial stocks posted some nice gains last week. Bank of America (BAC) is due to report on Monday and 'if' they are in-line or perhaps beat estimates and provide good guidance, we could see some continued upward movement in shareprices of bank stocks.
At some point these are going to take a pause however if the news continues to show things are not as bad in this sector as the perception is out there, then these bank stocks could have much farther to go.
