Oil and gas stocks did well as hurricane fears drove oil prices higher. The markets continue to trade on light volume and that should continue until after Labor Day. Leading stocks have been acting alright but they aren't demonstrating the types of powerful moves you'd ideally like to see at this point. There were only a handful of new 52 week highs today.
