The markets continue to experience some volatility and stepping back and looking at longer term charts, the indexes probably have more work to do before launching a move higher.

Bank stocks have really taken a beating recently and it's probably due to the uncertainty surrounding their earnings, safety of dividends, and to some extent, government ownership of their stock (warrants in-particular) because of the potential dilution they may add (more shares outstanding which dilutes earnings per share).
